Reporting hierarchy for concerns or unsafe conditions.
- First - Unit Level: Please report any safety related incidents or concerns to your supervisor or local safety officer.
- Second - College Level: If you do not feel that your concern or question has been adequately addressed, please reach out to the college' safety officer
- Third - University Level: If the local and college contacts do not resolve the issue, please contact EH&S.
If all the above contacts do not address the issue, please feel free to contact OSHA.

Penn State has developed Emergency Action Guides to assist with various types of emergencies. Their informational sheets provide additional guidance for specific types of spills, releases, exposures, or injuries and appropriate recovery and reporting requirements.
